Have notifications area inside of user preferences. The notifications would alert users of things they have done in the software such as imports, errors, farm invitations, etc

-When someone accepts an invite to your farm, you get a notification

-When there is a new app update available, you get a notification

-When you import a file, and it completes successfully, you get a notification

-When you import a file, and it fails, you get a notification

-When new features are available, you get a notification

-When permissions are changed, you get a notification
