Connect Processor Data to BoviSync

Connect Processor Data to BoviSync

Background

Processor data can now be integrated into BoviSync and viewed in the current reporting system. The addition of this information allows greater insights into dairy production and performance.

1) Setup BoviSync Integration with your Processor

Currently, there are two ways in which farms can connect their processor data to BoviSync:

1.)   If you currently view your processor data via https://app.mydairydashboard.com/:
  1. The user must be a farm admin (typically the farm manager or farm owner).
  2. In the left navigation menu, click 'Integrations'
  3. You will then see various Integration options
  4. Toggle on the Integration for BoviSync
  5. Your Herd ID will be needed in another step, below

2.)   If you currently view your processor data in your processor portal:
  1. You will need to schedule a brief (15 minute) Milk Portal Onboarding meeting with a Ever.Ag support team member to connect your milk processor data to your online dashboard. Click to Schedule Onboarding Meeting. There is no cost to you for setting up this online dashboard.
  2. The Ever.Ag support team member can then help you turn on the Integration with BoviSync.
  3. Ask them to also show you how to find the Herd Id for each of your farms.

2) Setup Processor Integration within BoviSync web app

The following are instructions for setting up the connection with Ever.Ag within the BoviSync application:
Navigate to Farm Setup (https://bovisync.farm/setup/farm) and go to the DataSync tab.
Add a source: Add a Name, Select Type as BulkTank, Select Supplier as Ever Ag Processor Cloud, then click, 'Add Source'. Please see the image below.

Once the source is created, you will need to edit it. You need to enter your 'External Farm ID'. This is the Herd Id in your processor dashboard (see processor dashboard image in earlier step) When complete, click 'Save'.

Your milk processor data should now integrate into BoviSync!

3) View Bulk Tank Data Reports in BoviSync

The BoviSync Report Map has a starter set of Bulk Tank reports.
