Convert Bred Events to Implant Events

Convert Bred Events to Implant Events

When you attempt to update implant event information there is now functionality that will convert bred events to implant events. Follow the steps below to perform this. All events that were previously linked to the bred event will now be linked to the implant event. DCC is correctly calculated (7 days are added to the date of the implant to derive the correct DCC).

Requirements:
  • There must be a bred event which is exactly 7 days before the date of the implant you are attempting to update.
    • Example: If you are trying to convert the bred event below from 10/12/17 to an implant event, the implant event in your csv file needs to be exactly 7 days after the bred event, or in this example, the implant in the csv file would be for 10/19/17. If the implant is not exactly 7 days before, the implant date, then BoviSync will not convert the bred event to an implant event.

Steps:
  1. Format your .CSV file to be the format as shown in this KB article Embryo Implant Update CSV import.
  2. Import the .CSV file into BoviSync
  3. Verify that the bred event was converted to an implant event. All information for the implant event will be updated.
