How does MVAL work in BoviSync
Use MVal when the goal is to understand the economic value of that production. MVal is best used during milk check reviews, profitability analysis, culling and retention decisions, and financial comparisons between cows or groups. It helps show which cows or groups are generating the most value based on the milk pricing structure. MVal is calculated when you enter a milk check within BoviSync. Below this article will walk through how to add a milk check.
1) Go to Setup-Farm Setup
2) Click Prices on the Tabs
3) Enter the data from a recent milk check
4) Click Save
After you have enter a milk check you can run this report to see the data.
