How To: Import Total Protein Values

This knowledge base article will walk you through the steps required to import Total Protein Data into BoviSync using the DC305 import method. 

1. Prepare the import file. Attached to this article you will find bovievents_total_protein.csv   

This is the template that will get you started, fill the spreadsheet out as shown:


In the excel file, column G, is where you will place the technicians. For each technician you will need to assign a different number. 




2. After you have prepared the file, save the file as: bovievents.csv

The file must be a CSV (comma delimited) (*csv) and named bovievents or the import will fail.




3. Navigate to BoviSync and open the import for DairyComp305, or click here. 

3A: Here is where you will map the technician number (#) to a BoviSync technician as shown below:



3B: Next, select "Choose File" under Events File and select the bovievents.csv file you saved in step #2

3C: Finally, select the "Import" button at the bottom of the page



4. After the file imports, the data will like the following:
