Import Purchased Events
This Import option will allow you to create new purchased events or update existing purchased events. See the examples below and attached file template.
When importing and editing the purchase events - be aware that the purchase date determines the start date that animals are available in reports. For more details read on how animals and events are included for different date ranges: Insights reporting for Time Ranges of Animals

File Setup and Columns
Animal EART/REG | Animal API ID | Event API ID | Date (d/m/y or YYYY-MM-DD) | Price | Source | Broker | Invoice | Note | Replace |
The animal's eartag or registration number (must match BoviSync) | The animal's API ID (must match BoviSync) | Use the Event API ID use this report for reference | Date of the Purchased event If you are updating a purchased animal, including a date will alter the purchase event date | Enter whole numbers for example. Avoid using decimal places 250 700 1250 | Enter who you purchased the animal from. Saving the File
The file must be saved as a .CSV (comma delimited) file type. The file does not require a special name.
Importing the File
Navigate to Setup > Imports > Purchase Event Import or Click Here
