Deleting Events

Deleting Events

This guide will walk through the process of deleting an event for an animal. This method is intended for deleting a few events from a single animal. If you are looking to delete a lot of events from one or more animals please see this article.

Start by entering the animal ID in the navigator to bring up the animal's page.

Select the Events tab on the animal page.

In any column you can enter information to narrow the displayed results. Here we will enter "Treatment" to narrow the events to only display treatment events. You do not have to do this but it makes it a little easier when you narrow down the list of events you are seeing.

When you have found the event you would like to edit, click the Edit button to the left of the corresponding event.

Scroll to the bottom of the event page and click Edit this will make the event editable, then click the arrow to the right of the save button. Select Delete to delete the event. You will see a confirmation message that the event was deleted.

Tip:  Holding 'Ctrl' and clicking 'edit' will cause the event page will open in a new tab and will not affect the current page you are on.
