Date Settings
Date settings in BoviSync determine which records are included and affect relative date report item values. Dates can be chosen absolutely: 12/31/2023 or relatively: 7 days ago. This is useful when using reports for activities in the past or future, i.e., next Monday, or last month.
Report Date Settings
Date settings can be found in the report settings drawer in Insights reports.
Animal Reports
Report Date impacts the value of relative date items.
Start Date and End Dates determine the animals at the location(s) within the time period.
Note that animals culled during the period may be included by checking the "Include Dead/Sold Option"
Animals that are culled on the Start Date will be excluded from the report.
Event Reports
Report Date impacts the value of animal report items included that support relative dates.
Start Date and End Dates include events occurring within the time period.
Relative Dates
Using relative values ensure that the report is loading information for the desired date period. When a relative date term is entered the date below the box will change. It is a good idea to confirm the expected date value.
Here are some example relative values:
Today - default value, always loads the current values.
Yesterday
Tomorrow
Monday - next Monday or today on Monday
Monday 2 weeks - 2 Mondays after the next Monday
Last Week - 7 days ago
Last Month - First day of Previous Month
End of Last Month - Last day of Previous Month
2 months ago - Day of current month, 2 months ago
14 days ago
