Scan EID to Excel

This guide demonstrates how to scan EID/RFID into Microsoft Excel using a Datamars SRS2 / SRS2i EID Wand.    

Datamars SRS2/SRS2i Wand Settings:

The following settings must be set to scan into Excel:

Bluetooth Menu
Bluetooth Mode:  Auto
Advanced:  HID

Tag Reading Menu
Tag Format:  Decimal2

Warning
Remember to set your settings back when done, so the wand can be used with BoviSync App:  Tru-Test SRS2/XRS2/SRS2i EID Wand Configuration

Connect Wand to Device via Bluetooth

Info
If using a Laptop, your device must have Bluetooth
Text Input must be enabled (Keyboard Logo)



Open Excel

Select an open cell in Excel, then begin scanning.  Each scan will automatically enter to the cell beneath itself.
