Warnings in mobile app when you attempt to sign out before syncing

There are certain warnings you might receive if you attempt to sign out of the BoviSync app when you have chores and/or events that have not yet been synced to BoviSync. This guide will discuss warning messages that you will receive and what they mean. To set some basic understanding of how the app works, when you are connected to internet (wifi only) and you complete chores on the phone, they immediately sync in the background to BoviSync. This is only for chores. Events will not automatically sync as chores do.

So as an example you are out in the barn completing chores and events. You attempt to sign out of the mobile app before syncing those changes to BoviSync. You will receive a warning message like the ones shown below. If you press and hold the "Sign Out" button you will loose the completed chore and events. If you press "Cancel" you will be taken back to the app where you can sync your chores and events.

Viewing Unsaved Chores and Events

If you receive either of the above messages while in the BoviSync mobile app but want to know which unsaved chores and events you are receiving a notification for you can easily find them. To find them first click the "Cancel" button so you do not loose your chores and events


Click on the 3 lines in the upper left corner to display the app options.


Select "Verify Data"


From here you can see the Unsaved Complete Chores (chores you have completed but not yet synced) and Unsaved New Events (events you have entered but not yet synced). Tap on either the chores or events line to see the specific information which is not yet synced.


You can view the specific details of the chore or event by then tapping on the one you would like to view.

Lastly, go back to home page and sync your phone to save the event or chore before signing out.
