Create a new Farm Sire in BoviSync
If you cannot lookup the sire you are looking for you may have to create it. This guide will walk you through how to create a new sire record in BoviSync.
There are two methods to create the new Sire Record.
Method 1:
1. Open up a new Enter Event window by going to Enter > Events or click here
2. Select "Bred" for the Event Type
3. In the "Sire" field enter the new sire you want to create
Before creating a new sire record, always search and determine if the sire already exists.
4. Click on the pop-up box "Not Found. Click to Create it"
5. Sire record is created
Method 2
1. Open the Semen Inventory by going to Enter > Semen Inventory or click here
2. Select "Receive Semen Straws" tab
3. In the "Item" field enter the new sire you want to create.
4. Click on the pop-up box "Not Found. Click to Create it"
5. Sire record is created
