Setup Tissue Sampling and Scanning (BVD, Genomic, Other)
Complete guide on how to setup the BoviSync app for tissue sampling. This process works for BVD, Genomic, or Other types of Tissue Sample recording. While a barcode scanner is not required, it is highly recommended to ensure the greatest accuracy possible.
Mobile App Setup
You can configure the mobile app 2 different ways.
Option 1 would be using a Chore List (Chore lists are used when you need to locate the animal receiving the tissue sample. Think of this like a To-Do list)
Option 2 would be using an Event Set (Event sets are used when you already know which animals are going to receive a sample. Think of this like a quick entry)
Chore List Setup
See video example below setting up a Chore List with a Tissue Same chore type.
Chore Lists are often used in combination with a Protocol. If you need help setting up a protocol please contact our Customer Success Team.
Event Set Setup
See video example below setting up an Event Set with a Tissue Sample event type.
