Getting started with Company and Team accounts

Create a new user account

  1. To begin, please create a new user account in BoviSync that will be used as the admin for the company. Instructions on creating a new user can be found here, or go directly to https://bovisync.farm/newuser/. 

Create your company

  1. Go to https://bovisync.farm/newcompany/
  2. Enter information into all of the required fields.
  3. Click Create Company



When you create a new company, it will create two BoviSync accounts:
1) A company admin account, in the example above: MilkRocks_Admin
2) Your company's team account: MilkRocks
You will initially be logged into your company admin account.
  1. You are now logged into your Company Admin account


Navigating your admin account

  1. Click on Setup > Account Management (or go directly to https://bovisync.farm/setup/account/)
  2. The next section will walk you through the various tabs in Account Management

Team Access

  1. Team Access lists all permissions within the company, including all organizational units.
  2. You do not add users in this view. You have the ability to remove a user, which will then remove the user from all teams they have access to.


Teams

  1. Teams lists all Teams with the Company, and provides a direct login link to each Team.
  2. It also has the functionality to create new Teams.
    1. Please note that you can only create additional teams if you are subscribed to at least the 'Team' subscription option. The Company subscription will not allow you to create additional Teams.
    2. The Enterprise subscription allows you to create Teams and Sub-Teams.


*Can only create additional Teams if you have Team subscription or higher


Billing

  1. In Billing, you can enter your billing details: payment details, billing account, and billing email

Address

  1. In Address, you can edit your address details


Modules

  1. The modules tab will contain features you can opt-into.


Subscription Store

  1. The Subscription Store is where you can manage your subscription, which includes unsubscribing or upgrading your subscription.
  2. Subscription descriptions can be found here, https://bovisync.com/company-accounts/.



Please note that you will only see Subscription upgrade options after you enter your Billing Email in the Billing tab.



API key

  1. The API keys tab contains credentials for managing the API, including Client ID, Client Secret, and Direct Permission Username that farms add to give the API access to their farm data.
